Hello everyone,
How have you been? OK, I forgot to schedule this one and came off to Brisbane. So it’s coming couple of days late. But this is how it goes.
Last weekend we went to Bright. It was a very relaxing trip, the first night the temperature went down to -1°C and it was freezing in our bedroom. The Airbnb we rented seems to be brand new and they were not equipped for the -1°C cold. We managed somehow. The next night was 9°C and it was perfect. Apart from that we had a lovely time. Kai came for a walk along a river without his leash. His first time and he was mostly well behaved, except for when he found poop on the trail. 😂 Today we are off to Brisbane to visit my cousin, she’s bought a new house and its the house warming ceremony. I’ll be away for 4 days and Chin for 2 days. Our first time leaving Kai, hoping he wont miss us too much. We are putting him a doggie care, which is more like a doggie hotel actually. How has your week been?
Also, I’m trying a different format this week, if you see anything weird please let me know.
For this week, I’ve a podcast episode, a website, a and a quote for you to ponder.
Jon Bon Jovi - is one of the most famous Rockstar from 80s and 90s. From his long list of songs my favourite is (No points for guessing) “It’s my life”. But he is a totally different man to what a Rockstar would be. Check out this podcast to know more.
How good will it be if we have a website which give you all the information about how to be an investment banking, hedge funds, and Private equity. We can not only learn the about all this but it can also be training material if you want to get into that field. In fact, there is a website for it. It’s called Streets of Walls. The creator of the site is more interesting - he is Brett Adcock. He’s the founder of the company Figure AI which makes humanoid robots. He’s figured out that in the future every household will need a humanoid robot and has gone all in on it.
Do you know who was the highest manufacturers of digital cameras from 2008 - 2011? It was Nokia. The digital camera revolution on your phone made them sky rocket to making cameras. But after their downfall the list now has only camera manufacturers. It has Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm and so on.
Deeds will not be less valiant because they are unpraised. - Aragon in The Return of the King (Final book of the Lord of the Rings book series by J.R.R. Tolkien)
That’s it for this week!!
